About Kristine Thrift and her adorable Teddy Bears

Kristine's lifestyle
Kristine is originally from Central Otago, New Zealand and has been residing in Alaska since 2002. Kristine married a third generation Alaskan bushman and she now lives at a hydro-electric power project in Bradfield Canal, southeast of Wrangell Island, Southeast Alaska. Black and multi colored brown bears roam freely amongst the rainforests and around Kristine's home at the head of Bradfield Canal. Anan Bear Observatory is only 15 miles from Kristine's home. Kristine admires the majestic Bradfield bears and her first mohair handcrafted jointed teddy bear was born in July 2002. Kristine receives her inspiration and creativity from viewing the Bradfield bears and the picturesque scenery in Bradfield Canal. Every bear that Kristine designs and handcrafts is made from quality materials. The Mohair and Alaskan fur bears are hand stitched. Bradfield Bears are certified to carry the "Made In Alaska" logo. Bradfield Bears are one-of-a- kind, limited editions and open editions. Thank you for taking the time to view Kristine's charming, huggable, mischievous bears Wrangell Alaska
